Biloxi School District taking part in pajama drive
The Biloxi School District is taking part in the 12th annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive.
This drive is run by the nonprofit Pajama Program in partnership with Scholastic. This is the second year the Biloxi School District has taken part in this drive.
Any sized pajamas are accepted and donations can be dropped off at any Biloxi School District School. For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic will donate a book with it.
All Biloxi School donations will go to a local nonprofit organization that helps children get through adversity. Biloxi Upper Elementary Librarian Kristy Arguelles said, “Well the most important thing is we cater to children every day, and we want to make sure that our children are taken care of, so I love the fact that they have come back on board with allowing us to help out the non-profit organizations that are around here and ultimately it goes back to help our own children.”
The drive will continue until December 15th.
