Biloxi Receives $9 Million for Road Work

$9 million in federal money is on its way to the City of Biloxi.
This morning, U.S. Senators Thad Cochran and Roger Wicker announced that Biloxi will receive a grant from FEMA to purchase infrastructure easements. The $9 million is to go toward ongoing work to improve roads and bridges damaged during Hurricane Katrina and subsequent storms.
No state or local matching funds are required with this award.
