Biloxi Re-Zoning Public Meeting 2 Pm at MLK Jr. Municipal Bldg.

Should Biloxi waterfront property be used for an expansion of the new Margaritaville Resort or for a new casino? Today the city wants to hear from you.
The public meeting regarding the re-zoning process will be at 2 p.m. at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Municipal Building in Biloxi.
Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann says the Mississippi Gulf Coast will lose millions of dollars in tax revenue if they move forward with phase two of a $140 million expansion of Margaritaville.
On the other side, Biloxi Mayor Andrew “Fofo” Gilich says Margaritaville has brought a new type of visitor to the Coast market. The proposed phase two expansion will bring significant numbers of these new visitors to us.
