Biloxi Rallies for Amtrak

While the Biloxi Shuckers already have a big fan base here on the Coast, they could have even more supporters should Amtrak start a new route through South Mississippi. One of the stops during tomorrow’s test run will be at Biloxi’s Coast Transit Center on Martin Luther King Blvd, right next to the baseball team’s merchandise store. The stop is also located within walking distance to MGM Stadium.
City leaders say this would be just one perk at this potential stop for Amtrak in South Mississippi.
Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant will be among the honorary passengers on tomorrow’s test run for Amtrak in South Mississippi, which will stop in Biloxi as well as several other major Coast cities.
