Biloxi police searching for stolen vehicle after high-speed chase

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)-Police are searching for a vehicle involved in a high-speed chase across Harrison County this afternoon.
The Biloxi Police Department says the chase was initiated after police ran the car’s plates and found it to be stolen.
They attempted to pull the car over in the area of Travia Avenue and Beach Boulevard, but the driver refused to stop, eventually turning on Cowan Road in Gulfport and getting on I-10 headed east.
Biloxi PD say they ended the chase just west of D’Iberville as the vehicle was driving well over 100 miles per hour, passing cars in the median of I-10, and creating a dangerous situation for other cars on the road.
No other law enforcement agencies were involved in the chase, but a BOLO was placed on the car, which police described as a white Jaguar.
If you have any information on this incident or know where the vehicle is located, please call the Biloxi Police Department at 228-435-6100.
