Biloxi Police search for armed suspect after shooting on Beauvoir Road
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- On Thursday, March 26th, 2026, the Biloxi Police Department responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Beauvoir Road, located on the old Broadwater golf course in Biloxi.
According to witnesses, a male, later identified as 61-year-old Dickie Waltman, allegedly shot at a 34-year-old male, hitting the victim in the hand.
Authorities say the victim is currently in stable condition at an area hospital.
Waltman has not yet been located and now has an active felony warrant for his arrest on a charge of aggravated assault. Police warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
He was last seen wearing a white tank top, khaki shorts, and black tennis shoes, and was reportedly traveling on a black bicycle.
