Biloxi Police ask public’s help to locate suspect

Biloxi Police are asking the public’s help to locate a suspect wanted by the Department of Corrections.

30-year-old Justin Scott Dean is wanted for felony eluding by Biloxi and a parole violation on a burglary conviction through the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

On Oct. 22, police spotted Dean and tried to pull him over on Pass Road when he took off.

Since 2013, Dean has been arrested in Harrison County 11 times, the most recent in June for simple assault by threat and burglary.

According to media reports, he is a member of the Simon City Royals gang. In 2018, he was sentenced to 31 years in prison with 15 years to serve.

He was released on parole in January 2022 and has been arrested four times since then in Harrison County.
