Biloxi police arrest another suspect in September drive-by shooting
On 08 November 2017 at approximately 6:06 PM, twenty-year-old Aseante Taylor of Gulfport was arrested by the Biloxi Police Department on a warrant for Drive-By Shooting. The warrant and arrest stem from an investigation that began on 17 September 2017 at approximately 6:32 PM when witnesses called 911 to report a drive-by shooting that had just occurred in the 200 Block of Rodenberg Av. A residence in the area was struck by some of the projectiles. No one was injured during the shooting.
Witnesses at the scene identified at least three known suspects involved in the incident. Eighteen year old Durente Yarbor of Gulfport was arrested on a warrant for Drive-By Shooting on 29 September 2017 regarding the same incident.
Taylor and Yarbor were both transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and held in lieu of $300,000 bonds set by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
The third suspect, nineteen year old Javaris Ramsey of Gulfport, still has an active warrant and is currently being sought by the Biloxi Police Department and the U.S. Marshall’s Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
