Biloxi PD Police Explorer Program

Do you have a teen interested in law enforcement? The Biloxi Police Department has a program for them.
The Biloxi Police Teen Explorer Program is a year-long program that gives teenagers hands-on experience doing some of the jobs that the men and women of our law enforcement do every day. You must be between the ages of 14 to 20 to participate. If you’re interested in participating but don’t live in Biloxi, there are several programs across the Coast. Teen Explorer Gen Goldsworthy said, “There is Gulfport, Gautier, D’iberville, Jackson County and Harrison County. We’ve worked with them many times. It’s really great to work with them.” Teen explorer Armir Darwish said, “We practice scenarios. That’s my favorite part. We do crime scene investigation, we learn how to de-escalate the situation with verbal judo, like talking to them and getting them to calm down and work with you. They do a lot of situations and you just learn how to deal with it.”
