Biloxi PD hosting fundraiser for investigator battling breast cancer
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The Biloxi Police Department is hosting a fundraiser on Friday for one of their own.
Investigator Vanessa Medina has been diagnosed with stage one breast cancer and is going through recovery.
The fundraiser includes lunch plates for $10; those meals include chicken thighs, Hawaiian rolls, potato salad, and banana pudding for dessert.
Pre-orders are encouraged and can be made by calling 228-702-3814.
All proceeds go toward her recovery.
Plates can be picked up at the Biloxi Police Training Center on Division Street.
