Biloxi PD Bomb Squad, ATF investigating suspicious item found on call

Biloxi Police Department’s Bomb Squad is currently investigating a “suspicious item” found while on a call.

The item was found on the 200 Block of Crawford Street after police spotted it while trying to serve an arrest warrant on an unrelated charge.

This item caused police to call their bomb squad and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) federal agents. The item has been collected and is being sent to a lab for testing.

Police say this is still a very active investigation.
