Biloxi National Cemetery Commemorates Memorial Day
Today a large group gathered at the Biloxi National Cemetery to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
The morning’s speaker noted the significance of national cemeteries in the fact that all headstones are the same. Captain Paul Odenthal from the Seabee Base told this morning’s crowd that today’s society is focused on individuality, but the uniformity in the cemetery shows that so many American’s put their lives on the line for one common goal, protecting this country’s freedom.
Tomorrow morning, the cemetery is asking for volunteers to come help take down the flags from all the graves at 8 a.m.
