Biloxi mayor discusses the past, present, and future at annual State of the City

Biloxi Mayor FoFo Gilich gave his annual State of the City Address.

The City of Biloxi has done a lot in the past year, but now they are looking forward to changes in the future.

Main water and sewage lines are being added to areas of Woolmarket. Downtown Biloxi is slowly coming together with the outside construction of the Saenger finally being done.

The city also shared plans for a new eleven-story hotel. ‘The Coast Gardens’ will feature a rooftop restaurant facing the waterfront. Mayor Gilich said, “We’ll work with folks in saying ‘Hey, we’ll make you… we’ll work with you to make these things happen.’ Not put obstacles up, and I think that’s the key. Collective, we’re pushing forward and that’s what we got to do.”
