Biloxi man sentenced on child sex crime charges
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A Biloxi man will spend 12 years in federal custody after being sentenced on child sex crimes charges.
Forty-six-year-old Steven Dessino was found guilty of distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material after being arrested after an undercover operation by the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Mississippi prosecuted the case.
In addition to his prison sentence, Dessino will have to pay more than $37,000 in restitution and will have to register as a sex offender.
