Biloxi man sentenced for child pornography

A Biloxi man has been sentenced to nearly a decade in prison for possession of child pornography.

Forty-five year-old Christopher Smith was sentenced to 109 months in federal prison after finding that he knowingly possessed visual depictions of minors engaging in sexual activity, including minors under 12 years of age.

Smith has also been ordered to pay restitution to a known victim in the amount of $5,000.
