Biloxi man charged with murder

A Biloxi man is accused of murder after his significant other was found dead.

Yesterday, 43-year-old Michael Edward Reis flagged down Biloxi police officers near Porter Avenue and Beach Boulevard and told them he wanted to turn himself in.

The investigation brought officers to a home on Popp’s Ferry Road where they found 40-year-old Jennifer Reis dead once they checked the residence.

Michael Reis was charged with murder and was transported to the Harrison County Jail where his bond was set at one million dollars.
