Biloxi man charged in woman’s death

Biloxi Police on Saturday charged a man with first degree murder after finding a woman dead in her apartment.

Pitipong Daengbunga, 37, of Biloxi was taken to the Harrison County jail and is being held on a $1 million bond set by Justice Judge Albert Fountain.

Police were called to an apartment in the 300 block of Rodenberg Avenue early Saturday for a welfare check on a white female. When officers arrived, the found signs of a struggle and the woman dead inside the apartment.

Investigators developed Daengbunga as a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
