Biloxi man arrested on aggravated domestic assault charge

A Biloxi man is behind bars on an aggravated domestic assault charge.

According to Biloxi police, 29-year-old Evelio Nery was taken into custody Tuesday on a $100,000 bond.

Officers had earlier been dispatched to a residence on the 200 block of Baker Street on a domestic violence call.

Police noticed signs of injury on the victim and identified Nery as the suspect in this case.
