Biloxi man arrested on aggravated assault charge

On Monday, February 26, 2024, Biloxi Police responded to the 2300 block of Pass Road in reference to a fight in progress.
While responding to the area, the Biloxi Communications Center received a report that one of the people involved had been run over by a car.
During the course of the investigation, it was learned that 39-year-old Timothy Richard Brown (Biloxi, Mississippi) and the victim had been riding together when an altercation occurred. The victim later exited the vehicle in an attempt to get away from Brown, resulting in Brown driving behind him. Brown eventually struck the victim with his vehicle causing serious injuries.
As a result of the crash, the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Based on the incident, an arrest warrant for the charge of Aggravated Assault was issued on Brown by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
On April 17, 2024, Biloxi Patrol Officers located Brown on Division Street and arrested him without incident on the warrant. He was later transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and booked. Brown’s bond was set at $100,000.
