Biloxi man arrested for arson

One man is facing arson charges after allegedly setting a tree on fire. The Biloxi Police Department arrested 28-year-old Marshall Point of Biloxi on Saturday.
According to police, citizens reported a man pouring gas on to and setting an oak tree on fire located in the median on Highway 90 at Bellman Street.
Police later located Point a few blocks from the crime scene and he was quickly taken into custody after attempting to flee from officers.
Point was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center where he was held on a $5,000 bond.
