Biloxi Main Street hosts Pumpkinpalooza

Biloxi Main Street’s October Pumpkinpalooza Festival happened today at the Downtown Community Market.

This festival is one of the five festivals Biloxi Main Street hosts in a year.

Residents in the city, as well as students from schools across the Coast, enjoyed different activities such as live music, pumpkin decorating, raffles, and more Halloween fun.

The October Community and Farmer’s Market sells hotdogs and hamburgers to shoppers as well.

The festival also hosts a variety of local market vendors whom offer fresh produce and products. Biloxi Main Street Executive Director Kay Miller said, “We do it for everybody. We invite students. They love to come to the farmers market and the community market and helps them. They love to buy the different fruits and veggies and cornstalks and sugar cane and sort of open their eyes to fresh vegetables and to just have a good time outside.”

The market will continue to be open every Tuesday and Thursday under the I-110 corner of Howard and Hopkins.
