Biloxi Lions Club holds 91st Outstanding Citizens Award Ceremony

The Biloxi Lions Club held their 91st Biloxi’s Outstanding Citizens Award Ceremony at the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum.

The award was presented to Dr. Paul Tisdale who currently serves as the councilman for Ward 5 and enjoyed a successful tenure as superintendent of Biloxi Schools from 2004 to 2011.

Dr. Tisdale participates in numerous organizations including Biloxi First Inc., Biloxi Business Men’s Club, Excel by 5 Early Childhood Program Coalition, Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Maritime and Seafood Museum, and Magnolia Lodge F&AM #120. Dr. Tisdale said, “I’m very grateful and appreciative. I know that there were quite a few nominations of worthy individuals and at looking at past recipients, I am honored to be listed among them. So, it’s a very humbling experience.”

Dr. Tisdale says he is passionate about making a difference in everyone’s lives, but especially children.
