Biloxi Holds Breakfast with the Mayor; Business as Usual
Felix Gines pointed out he’s served as Acting Mayor many times when Mayor Holloway was out of town, and although this situation is a little different, he ensured the business community that city business is continuing just as if the Mayor was here. Tuesday morning, Gines stressed economic development, highlighting the $180 million in infrastructure work currently going on in east Biloxi.
Gines says, “Revitalize our community and grow our community, grow the families. For better jobs, for better job opportunities, and of course we think MGM Park is the cornerstone of economic development, especially in east Biloxi.”
Gines says this economic development will not only grow the Biloxi community, but it will also enhance the experience for the four million visitors who come through the city each year.
