Biloxi High School holding Winter Magic holiday event

Biloxi High School is bringing winter magic to the community while raising money for their clubs and activities.

Tonight was the kick off of the five-day Winter Magic Holiday Experience at Biloxi High School.

Starting now and throughout the month of December, five different Winter Magic nights will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Biloxi High School Courtyard.

Different clubs sell goods like t-shirts, art, face painting, hot chocolate, popcorn, yearbooks, and more to raise money for their organizations.

It’s a family friendly event that’s free to the public.

There are chances to take pictures with Santa, listen to holiday music, enjoy the winter decorations, and Christmas lights. English and Theater Production Teacher Sarah Grammar said, “The students are so excited. We’ve gotten a lot of student volunteers. For many of them, this is the first volunteer opportunity they have in the school year. Obviously, COVID had kind of hampered a lot of their opportunities along the way for the past couple of years. So, this is really one of their first big events where they get to volunteer their time and spend time in the community with one another.”

If you would like to attend, Winter Magic will also take place on December 2nd, 7th, 10th, and 14th at Biloxi high School from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
