What a time it was to be on the hardwood as two of the best teams on the coast go head to head on a Friday night. It wasn’t just your casual class 7A region four clash, but a battle of teams with just one loss each and two of the top class of 2027 prospects Zaniya Johnson and Saniyah Murray duking it out at center, which explains why several premier college basketball coaches were present for this one.
It was a tight game all night, but the Indians would pull away at the end, defeating Harrison Central 36-27. Biloxi improves to 17-1 and remains undefeated in regional play, while the Red Rebels receive just their second loss of the year.
