Biloxi firefighters battle house fire in Woolmarket
Biloxi Fire Department responded to a house fire on Shorecrest Road on Tuesday night.
The call went out about 11 p.m. When crews arrived, the flames already were through the roof of the home.
Chief Nicolaus Geiser said three engines, a ladder truck and about 20 firefighters responded.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly, although there was a roof collapse from the fire.
No injuries were reported by occupants or fire crews. The scene was cleared about 1:30 a.m.
The fire is under investigation.
