Biloxi Fire Museum hosts haunted house
The Biloxi Fire Museum is hosting its inaugural haunted house this year.
News 25’s Brooke Parker went out to see just how spooky it is.
Back in the 80s, firefighters hosted the biggest haunted house in Biloxi. Now, retired firefighters are working to raise it from the grave.
Some adults may remember walking through the Gruich Center as children and now it could be making a comeback.
Retired Firefighter and Fire Museum Board Member Joe Boney has created a haunted house at the fire museum with the goal of it getting bigger and better each year.
It’s $10 for adults and $5 for children. All proceeds will help fund the Biloxi Fire Museum.
It takes about five to seven minutes to walk through, making it perfect for young thrill seekers. “We kind of wanted to make it a family thing. It’s not real large, It’s not real big. We don’t have a lot of room, but we wanted to try it and see what would happen. And I think we’ve got a pretty good product.”
The fire museum will be open Friday and Saturday, that’s October 27th and 28th, from 6 to 9 p.m.
