Biloxi drops hard-fought season-opener to Holmes County Central, 33-30

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV) — Biloxi jumped out to an early lead over Holmes County Central, but after a back-and-forth battle, the Indians dropped their season-opener by a score of 33-30.

Biloxi jumped out to a 7-0 lead with a rushing score by quarterback Jordan Ramsey before HCC found the endzone moments later on a long touchdown pass. The Indians maintained a 24-20 lead heading into halftime, but ultimately let the game slip away in the fourth quarter.

The Indians will look to bounce back as they host Pascagoula on Friday, September 5th, at 7 p.m.
