Biloxi Brewing Company Grand Opening

Biloxi Brewing Company has been pouring beer since 2014, but didn’t have an actual brewery for a home base until today. News 25’s Kendra Turley takes us to the grand opening of its new facility on Bohn Street.
It’s a brand beer lovers along the Coast have grown to love. And now, Coast residents have a chance to see exactly how it’s made. The Biloxi Brewing Company opened the doors to its new facility located in the heart of Biloxi on Bohn Street. St. Martin resident Cindy Robertson-Cochran said, “The Gulf Coast has always been known for its sports, fishing, recreation, and seafood industry and gaming. Now we’re adding to the appeal by having our own brewing company. It’s just wonderful.”
The 11,000 square foot facility took several years to finalize, but President and CEO Mark Crowley says it was well worth the wait. “We do tours on Saturdays from noon to six right now. We’ll take them through the brewery, do a tour of the brewery, and then we’ll bring them back in and they’ll get six 6 ounce samples.”
The Biloxi Brewing Company hopes the approval of House Bill 1322 will allow them to tap in to a new category of customers. The new law will grant beer lovers access to purchase cans of beer onsite. After sampling many of the flavors at the grand opening, customers were itching to walk away with a case or two. Ocean Springs resident John Dolan said, “The coffee beer is just fantastic and then with the ice cream in there, man, on a summer day this is perfect. It tastes great.”
With MGM Park, casinos, and top restaurants nearby, Biloxi Brewing aims to contribute toward the long-list of attractions in the city. “It’s been a long time coming. We’re glad that people came out to help support us and help support Biloxi.”
