Biloxi bomb threat suspect arrested

A Georgia man is in jail after allegedly making a false bomb threat in Biloxi last week.

According to police, 25-year-old Marcus Tyrone Geddis was tracked down and arrested after he called the Walmart Supercenter to say he’d left a bomb in a dressing room. Officers cordoned off the area and found no explosives.

Investigators traced the phone call to Geddis, who is now at the Harrison County Jail on a $25,000 bond set by Judge Albert Fountain.

Captain Milton Houseman of the Biloxi Police Department leads the bomb disposal team. “Myself and one of our explosive detection dogs made a check of the facility and all common areas where someone would have access to, and once we were sure we felt there was nothing in there of any concern, we released the facility back to the Walmart folks.”

Anyone with information on the case is encouraged to contact the Biloxi Police Department criminal investigation division.
