Biloxi Apartment Complex Embezzlement Arrest

On June 3, 2016 the Biloxi Police Department arrested 53 year old Debra Jean Stracener on a charge of felony embezzlement. The arrest stems from an investigation into the theft of money from her employer, an apartment complex company located in the City of Biloxi., over a period of about 06 months. The investigation revealed that Ms. Stracener had received rent payments from tenants of the apartment complex and converted the money to her own use. The total amount of monetary loss to the company exceeded $1,000.00 which is considered a felony in the State of Mississippi. Ms. Stracener was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center where she was held on a $10,000.00 bond set by Justice Court Judge Bruce Strong.
