Biloxi alum Colt Keith named Midwest League Player of the Week

Biloxi’s own Colt Keith starting to come into his own at the next level, having been named Midwest League Player of the Week as a member of the High-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, the West Michigan Whitecaps.

The former Big Red star had a big week at the plate, racking up 11 hits across six games, including four doubles and a homer, as well as five runs scored, four RBI, and two stolen bases.

Keith now leads his team in batting average at a clip of .317.
