Big Rig Truck Show is Back on the Coast

The Big Rig Truck Show is rolling on the Gulf Coast for the second year in a row.
Show trucks from all around the Coast have made a pit stop at the Mississippi Coast Convention Center. The Big Rig Truck Show is all about the transportation industry, from truck automotive parts to well known exhibitors all being featured until Sunday.
Judging will take place tomorrow and the proceeds will support the Wounded Warrior Project. Director of Marketing Jim McCleney tells News 25 this is a chance for the public to learn about the truck industry. “Eighty percent of accidents are caused by the automobile. People don’t know that. We want to promote the industry and show the trucks and try to get new people to come into the industry. We got a truck driving school here to learn, you can make good money in the trucking industry.”
The best truck in the show will be awarded with a trophy and featured on next year’s poster.
