Bienville Orthopaedic opens coast’s first orthopedic urgent care

Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists hosted a ribbon cutting to announce a new service for the community.

The Bienville Ortho Urgent Care opened at Orange Grove in Gulfport, being the only one located on the Gulf Coast.

An orthopedic-only urgent care offers immediate care for acute injuries that require urgent attention.

X-Ray and MRI imaging is available at the facility.

Splinting, casting, or bracing is also available if needed.

The Orange Grove facility is open Monday through Friday from 8 to 5.

“It’s a great day for Gulfport, Mississippi, and all the surrounding area. Bienville Orthopaedics has always been the one to trust when it comes to orthopedic care,” said Lee Bond, the CEO of Bienville Orthopaedic. “And now, for us to be able to open an urgent care within our facility on Dedeaux Road by Highway 49, we’re really excited.”

“We’re here for an orthopedic urgency, such as if you think you broke your leg or you may have sprained your ankle,” said Amanda Hansen, the physician assistant. “We’re here to take care of you.”
