Bidding open for Garfield Ladner Pier repair in Waveland

WAVELAND, Miss. (WXXV)- In Waveland, the city is now accepting sealed bids on the repair project to the Garfield Ladner Pier.

The repairs are from damage due to Hurricane Zeta in 2020. FEMA is helping with funding for the repairs.

Advertisement for bids will begin on October 16 and run for two weeks.

All sealed bids will be received at City Hall. Plan holders need to log in or register for an account at www.planhousebidding.com.

Bids will be opened November 13 and read aloud during the mayor and board of alderman meeting.

This has been two years in the making with multiple appeals to get to this point.
