Bicyclist hit, killed on Tucker Road identified

A family member has identified the man who was killed after a vehicle hit his bicycle on Monday night.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said Brett Wilson Brewer of Latimer was the cyclist. He was identified by his daughter.

Brewer was riding his bike about 10 p.m. on Tucker Road when he was hit and died at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. There are no charges filed at this time.
