Bethesda Clinic fundraiser this Saturday in Ocean Springs

Bethesda Free Health Clinic opened its doors in 2010. The company has never taken payment for services given to over 12,000 patients.
Today, representatives from Bethesda stopped by WXXV to share more about their upcoming fundraiser, a mystery themed dinner theatre event set in the 1920s. Because the clinic’s mission is to provide basic primary medical and dental services free of charge, fundraisers are a major part of what keeps the clinic up and operating.
Assistant Clinic Director Rebecca Foster tells News 25 that anyone who attends will be experiencing great music, food, and a night full of fun and mystery. “As we are 100 percent free, when we have a fundraiser, that is a big portion of what we can use to keep the doors open and continue to service the people along the Gulf Coast. We don’t want to turn anyone away because we cannot afford to see them so we rely on our fundraisers, we rely on donations. We rely on just anybody out there that can help us out. That’s how this will go into action for us.”
The only remaining tickets will be available at the door for $75. The event is happening Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Community Center.
