Best Buy Thanksgiving Deals

Technology shoppers just couldn’t wait to get their hands on the best gadgets, setting up camp outside Best Buy as early as midnight. When the store opened at 5pm, the line was wrapped around the building, with people sitting in chairs, reading papers, playing on their phones, or socializing to pass the time. Diamondhead resident, Alvin Wash, was first in line at midnight, which means he, like others, spent Thanksgiving Day outside his warm home, and in the Best Buy parking lot. While many wouldn’t think of spending their holiday among strangers, for Black Friday shoppers like Wash, the chance to save hundreds of dollars on the items they want, is well worth a little discomfort.

Best Buy is opened from 5pm Thursday to 1am Friday. The store reopens at 8am Friday.
