Beau Rivage in Biloxi part of MGM cyber attack
MGM Resorts, the parent company of Beau Rivage Resort and Casino, has suffered a cybersecurity breach on its systems.
It is the second company on the Mississippi Coast to undergo a cyber attack in the last month. Singing River Health System discovered a breach on August 19th.
According to a post on it’s ‘X’ account today, MGM said it identified a cybersecurity issues affecting some of the company’s systems.
MGM investigated with help from external experts and notified law enforcement and says it took prompt action to protect systems and data, including shutting down certain systems such as the company’s web sites.
Spokesperson Mary Cracchiolo said systems are coming back online as the company hardens security.
