Beau Rivage donates over 2,400 pounds of food to Lord is my Help

Beau Rivage Resort and Casino donated over 2,400 pounds of food to the Lord is my Help.

Beau Rivage’s employee-drive/volunteer social impact and sustainability council hosted a canned food drive back in March and employees donated.

The department that donated the most food at Beau Rivage will receive an incentive. Beau Rivage Chief of Security William Coffman said, “The Beau Rivage is part of the community. We work in the community. We live in the community. So, this is very important for us to give back to the folks that work in our community to help out what’s going on in the Gulf Coast.”

The Lord is my Help General Manager Barbara Ruddiman said, “Without these donations, we would be dead in the water. It’s very important that we constantly get donations like this for my food pantry. You get as much or as little as I have on hand when you come through that door. So, this really helps me beef up and get ready for the summer.”

During the summer months, the Lord is my Help sees an increase due to families needing extra meals to feed their kids while they are out of school.
