Beau Rivage chef in James Beard competition

Kristian Wade, executive chef at Beau Rivage, is on a mission to make eating a burger delicious and healthy.
Chef Wade has entered his Landmass Burger into the James Beard Foundation’s Blended Burger Contest. This burger is made of ground beef and mushrooms, making the chef’s creation a little healthier. “For the James Beard Foundation, the Blended Burger project this year, its roots run real deep this year with MGM CSR efforts, our corporate and social responsibility. I went to a conference in the fall of last year in Napa Valley at CIA and it was rethink food conference where 50 years from now we may not be able to feed the population. This whole thing runs deep in our CSR efforts. It’s something we see moving forward as the way of the future, blending protein and vegetables to create the same end result as we had before.”
The top five chefs with the most votes will get to go to the James Beard Foundation Convention and present their burgers to the board.
