Beach Park in Pascagoula gets a new look

Pascagoula is getting ready to reintroduce a revamped Beach Park to the city.

The longtime local favorite received several improvements thanks to the work of Pascagoula Pride, a nonprofit organization.

Some of the upgrades include aesthetics, signage, landscaping, and more. It’s all just in time for summer.

Pascagoula Public Information Officer Katarina Luketich says that Pascagoula Pride has gone above and beyond. “Their main mission is to beautify Pascagoula, so they received a large endowment specifically for improvements at Beach Park. Over the past two years, they’ve been putting a lot of work into the park. They’ve done a lot of beautiful aesthetic improvements and they’re finally coming to fruition and they’ve just all finished.”

The park will be debuted at this weekend’s Free Flowin’ Fest.
