Beach accessibility in Harrison County

The Harrison County Sand Beach has incorporated a brand-new handicap accessible Mobi-mat leading all the way to the water.

Right across the street from Centennial Plaza, the Harrison County Sand Beach addition makes it easier for everyone to enjoy the beautiful Coast.

The Mobi-mat is a portable, roll out pathway designed to provide a more stable and slip-resistant surface over sand.

This makes it easier for individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or strollers to access the shoreline.
