Bay Waveland Middle School student caught recording classmate in bathroom

Earlier this week, Bay-Waveland School Superintendent Dr. Sandra Reed informed parents that a male Bay Middle School student was caught recording a student using the girl’s restroom.

According to the victim’s mother’s Facebook account, the student allegedly received a message from another student to let her know about the recording. The mother says she believes the recorder was hiding in the ceiling above the stall.

She says she also believes the video was sent to multiple students.

The school, as well as the Bay Police Department, have been notified of the incident.
