Bay St. Louis PD searching for possible suspect in fatal hit and run

On March 16, 2024, at approximately 10:35 p.m. Officers of the Bay St. Louis Police Department responded to a hit-and-run collision on Highway 90 near the intersection of Dunbar Avenue.

The victim, Brandy Thames, a 41-year-old white female of Bay St. Louis, was transported to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Witnesses identified a possible suspect vehicle as a dark-colored pickup truck that fled east on Highway 90.

Through further investigation, the Bay St. Louis Police Department was able to obtain further suspect information.

The vehicle is believed to be a 2003-2006 Chevrolet Silverado, extended cab with a bed toolbox. The driver is described as a 25–35-year-old white male, large build, with a blonde curly mullet hair style.
