Bay St. Louis PD issues reminder regarding golf carts on the road

BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Bay St. Louis Police Department is putting out a safety reminder for people driving golf carts on city streets.

Golf carts and low speed vehicles are only allowed on roads with speed limits 25 miles per hour or less.

You must stay in the outside lane on multi-lane roads when possible.

You must have a valid driver’s license and carry proof of insurance. A golf cart driver is held to the same traffic laws as any other driver.
