Bay St. Louis Man Sentenced 40 Years for Sex Offenses

A Bay St. Louis man is sentenced to 40 years in prison for multiple sex offenses against children.
District Attorney Joel Smith announced today that 27-year-old Matthew Timothy Davis of Bay St. Louis pleaded guilty this week to exploitation of a child, sexual battery of a juvenile over the age of 13, and touching for lustful purposes involving two victims.
Circuit Court Judge Larry Bourgeois sentenced Davis to 40 years and suspended 15 years, leaving 25 years to serve in prison.
