Bay St. Louis man charged with sex crimes against minor

A Bay St. Louis man is in jail, charged with sex crimes against a minor.

Police arrested 42-year-old Jontae Green on charges of molestation and sexual battery. He was taken to the Hancock County jail and bond was set at $500,000.

Bay St. Louis Police Chief Toby Schwartz said on February 7, his department began an investigation after receiving a report of possible sexual abuse of a juvenile in October 2023. Green was identified as a suspect in the case and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
