Bay St. Louis man charged in theft at Habitat for Humanity home

A Bay St. Louis man is in jail, charged with stealing tools from a home under construction by Habitat for Humanity.

Bay St. Louis Police said in a press release that on April 2 officers arrested Neal Wilkerson, 58, on a charge of commercial burglary.

The department said in the press release that Wilkerson was identified as the suspect who forcefully entering the shed of a Habitat for Humanity home, which was under construction in the 600 block of Washington Street, and taking several tools in a burglary on March 26.

Wilkerson is being held at the Hancock County jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
