Bay St. Louis firefighter benefit
What better way to spend your Saturday than going to a pub crawl supporting a great cause?
You can do just that Saturday at a fundraiser benefit for a local firefighter at Dan B’s restaurant and bar in Bay St. Louis.
The Bay St. Louis Fire Department and local motorcycle clubs have teamed up to help firefighter Michael Guitreau and his family. Guitreau was critically injured in a motorcycle accident in April.
Duane Caughlin with the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club said, “It’s a community effort. The whole community is backing this boy. He’s 28-years-old, he’s got four children. His injury is almost career-ending. So, we’re helping him out.”
Tickets for tomorrow’s events are $25 and include live music, food, and one drink at each bar stop. All proceeds will go to help with Guitreau’s medical, living, and rehab expenses.
